2022 CIA Price Increase
 The Global Board approved the exam registration price increase for the Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) program on 1 April 2020. This price increase implementation was postponed due to COVID-19. These were communicated to all affiliates on 3 June 2020, and 1 October 2020.
This is the first CIA exam fee increase since April 2017. While we recognize the changes impact candidates globally, we need to make the change due to raising costs and global inflation. Considering the global inflation rate from 2017 to 2021 being 17.8%. We hope the 9.9% total CIA price adjustment is reasonable. We wanted to provide you with sufficient time to prepare for the change on 1 September 2022. The new prices are below will go into effect on 1 September 2022. There is no change to the CIA application fee.
